Jorgenson Builders began on a jobsite, not in a boardroom. Jake Jorgenson grew up working for his dad's company - learning nearly every trade, from excavation and site work to framing and trim carpentry, before he was old enough to drive. The trade runs in the family: his grandfather was a carpenter, his dad learned the business working alongside his own older brother before starting Jorgenson Construction, and several relatives have built careers as contractors and tradesmen.

Wanting to learn how to run a real business, not just build, Jake studied construction management at BYU — framing houses to pay his own way through school — then spent years working for production builders and some of Park City's top high-end builders. Nearly twenty years ago, that experience became Jorgenson Builders — a team built to carry the family legacy forward as a company that builds as well as it runs.
