About

JakeJake began working in construction when he was fourteen years old. He is a third generation builder, and you can definitely say building is in his blood. He put himself through school framing houses and got his BS degree in Construction Management at BYU. He graduated in 2004 and immediately got a job as an estimator for a high volume national home builder. While there he learned a lot about budgeting and estimating a house to the smallest detail. Jake has always had the goal of building high-end homes, so he was happy to take a job as purchasing manager for a company building million dollar homes in Tuhaye, just outside of Park City. Jake enjoyed his work at Tuhaye, but soon took a job as a project manager for Don Craig Construction. This job allowed him to get experience building multimillion dollar homes in The Colony in Park City. At Craig Construction Jake learned the detail and quality of work necessary to build luxury homes. In 2008, Jake decided it was time to realize his goal of owning his own business. He has been managing his own business since then and has incorporated the estimating, quality, and detail he learned from past experience into Jorgenson Builders.

When he’s not busy building, Jake loves to be with his family. He has three kids who love to play with him. His oldest is already learning to help dad on the job site. Jake loves the outdoors and any activity that can be done outside. He loves to camp, hike, bike, run, swim, and hunt. He’s participated in numerous triathlons and especially loves to mountain bike with his son.
